Welcome to Offset (offset.skew.org), a wiki hosted by a former Web technology consultant. It uses the MediaWiki software, same as Wikipedia. If you want to participate in any of the projects listed below, then create an account for yourself, log in, and edit away!

Hosted projects

Three projects are hosted here so far:

• A workspace for the new 'file' URI scheme draft. Members of the W3C's URI Interest Group are welcome to participate.
• A workspace for research related to the Island Records label. The research is intended to help better catalog and organize Island information on Discogs.com.
• A workspace for research related to the history of roller derby. Please email the administrator for access.

• 12 Oct 2011 — Users must now also process a visual CAPTCHA in order to perform certain operations, including new account and page creation.
• 14 Feb 2011 — Due to a rash of spam, users must now confirm their email address before they have edit permission. Visit your "my preferences" page to send yourself a confirmation email.
